Basket of bananas foster....
Sapphire Restaurant, Laguna
Make your own sushi.....soy paper, seaweed, crab sunomono, and hamachi in a citrus ponzu. Very refreshing, summer dish
Braised Pork Cheeks, with sweet potatoe gnocchi and black truffles. THE BEST dish I've had in recent years. Paired extremly well with the 1986 Mouton Rothschild....<---just kidding.
Colorado Lamb Loin, I don't normally like lamb but this loin cut was perfectly cooked and had very little gameyness to it.
Over all another great meal at Sapphire Restaurant in Laguna.

Din Tai Fung
Din Tai Fung is expanding quite quickly and has opened a new location in Arcadia, right next to the old one. It's newer, nicer, faster and the waitresses speak English very well. Check it out.
Tasty little dumplings
Pai gu fan...Pork Chop Rice
Saute'd String Beans
Soy Sauce, Black Vinegar and Ginger.....

Fantastic architecture....beautiful ambiance, a little cold but very formal
Tai carpaccio, nice presentation, beautiful plateware, tasty.
American Kobe Beef Carpaccio, interesting presentation.... Grade B for being slightly above average
Fried Tofu (Agedashi) w/ a shishito pepper and slice of eggplant...
Seared blue fin tuna in ponzu.... this sliced kumquat theme seemed to be throughout their presentations...

Chipotle.....
Chipotle.....
You're in control of your own fate at Chipotle. Choose between: Burrito, Soft Tacos, Crispy Tacos, even a Quesadilla....then pick out your "style" of meat and top with what you think is necessary...all as you patiently wait to devour it. Chipotle is one of, if not the fastest growing Fast Casual Food Concepts in the USA.....good thing they fixed their almost unediable soggy chips ; ) If you haven't tried it already come out of your cave a little more often.
